In town from Kansas City. Found them on Google took a chance. Well worth it. Highly recommend the beef tips. My husband had the fish was excellent! Great service.
Alright this was the first place we ate at in Lake Charles. Food was by far some of the best food I've had. The girl with the glasses at the register is a little off was hard to order . Was about to just say nevermind told her I want that that's on the screen she was so confused said I don't know what you asking for. After going back and forth, she realized what I wanted.
Was coming through LC and stopped at Leonard's for a quick supper. The beef tips were really good along with the red beans. It was great to have this food after a long day in the field.
Amazing food! Based on a recommendation from a local, I tried southern food here and reached late but they had closed for dine in at 8PM but somehow accomodated me. I ordered the fried fish fillet, shrimp etouffee, pepper jack boudin balls. The best was the bread and the potato salad that came with the whole meal. Dipping that bread in etouffee was absolutely yummy!! Definitely try this.
On yesterday I drove to Leonard's Food Quarters from range Texas for lunch and the experience was awesome. The clerk and cashier was very welcoming ,My selection was Red beans and rice with pork chops. The flavor was as I remembered it to taste from over 10 years back. Flavor was very consistent. Plus I ordered a slice of lemon cake to go with the meal and the cake was Soo moist til it stuck to the roof of My mouth like a fresh peanut butter and jelly sandwich on good bread Mmm Mmm The lunch crowd atmosphere was pleasant while seated inside a booth to notice the vibe while there I am considering to ride there again today to try something that a friend suggested to eat from the tasty menu Thank You and keep up Your Southern Hospitality energy
My husband had the crawfish baked potato, while I went with the fish. We both got a side of red beans and rice, and it was absolutely delicious.
